Inductive Proximity Sensors are used in many automated industrial applications and where high temperatures are used in the manufacturing process.
Sensors work along side handling equipment, sending alerts when objects are in position or out of position during the manufacturing. Due to the heat needed in these processes, sensors with a high heat resistance are needed. These sensors are constantly subjected to temperatures over 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
ASI’s line of high temperature inductive proximity sensors are designed for these harsh environments. Depending on the sensing depth needed these sensors range in diameter from 8mm to 50mm.
